This course is designed to help you learn all the basic presentation skills needed to deliver a successful speech or presentation, no matter the context – whether for work or school. There is no limit to what you can do with public speaking skills. These public speaking knowledge and skills are one of the most important skills to learn , and knowing them, will give you GREAT POWERS to stand out from the crowd in the job marketplace.

  • Part 1: The Physical Message. You will learn about Appearance & Facial Expression; Posture & Eye Contact; Body Movement & Hand Gestures; and Voice Inflection
  • Part 2: The Visual Message. You will learn how about Creating Effective Visual Aids and How to Present Visuals Effectively.
  • Part 3: The Story Message. You will learn about the Introduction, the Body, and the Conclusion of a speech.
  • Final Performance: Putting It All Together. You will do a Final Speech Performance

Course Introduction

  • An Insight Into Public Speaking

Part 1: The Physical Message
This section consists of: (1) Appearance and Facial Expression; (2) Posture and Eye Contact; (3) Body Movement and Hand Gestures; (4) Voice Inflection

Part 2: The Visual Message
You will learn about creating effective visual aids and how to present your visuals effectively.

Part 3: The Story Message
You will learn about the Standard Presentation Structure: the Introduction, the Body, and the Conclusion of the presentation or speech.

Final Project
This is a Final Speech Project for the course. You're required to put it all together (the Introduction, the Body, and the Conclusion) as one final speech performance.
